Source: WikipediaParsonsia straminea, commonly known as common silkpod or monkey rope, is a woody vine of the dogbane family, Apocynaceae. It occurs in the states of New South Wales and Queensland in Australia.

A woody climber. The trunks are twisted and bent. The leaves are shiny. The flowers are small and yellow. The pods are 20 cm long.
