Description
A herb. It forms clumps and has succulent stems. The stems are 15-20 mm long by 8-12 mm wide. The leaves only remain as small segments. The flowers are near the top. They are shiny and red. They are 2-3 cm across and funnel shaped.
Edible Uses
The stems are eaten.
Distribution
It is a tropical plant. It grows in dry woodland between 600-1,700 m above sea level.
