Description
A palm. It grows 22 m tall. The stems are 4-5 cm across. The leaves are 1-2 m long. They have spines. There are 10 leaflets on each side. The fruit are 4 cm long by 2 cm wide.
Edible Uses
The fruit is edible.
Distribution
It is a tropical plant. It grows in the lowland rainforest between 150-440 m above sea level.
