Description
A medium sized tree. The leaves are compound with 3 pairs of leaflets. The flowers are white and in groups in the axils of leaves. The pods are green and in bundles. They are 25 cm long. They are swollen at the seeds. The pulp around the seeds is white.
Edible Uses
The white pulp surrounding the seeds in the pods is eaten.
Distribution
It is a tropical plant. It grows in secondary and mixed forest.
