Description
A small slender tree. It grows 15 m tall. The trunk is 10-15 cm across. The leaves are dull green above and grey underneath. The flower petals are creamy pink. The ripe fruit are red.
Edible Uses
The ripe red fruit are eaten.
Distribution
It is a tropical plant. In PNG it has been recorded on Manus Island.
