Description

A tree. It grows 7 m tall. The young shoots are reddish-brown and slightly angular. The leaves are opposite and also arranged oppositely to the pairs above. They are 4-9 cm long by 2-4 cm wide. The flowers are 1 cm across. The fruit are round and yellow. They are 3 cm across. There is one seed.

Edible Uses

The fruit is eaten.

Distribution

It is a tropical plant.
