Saurauia scabrida is a species of flowering plant in the family Actinidiaceae. It is endemic to Mexico.

Description

A tropical tree reaching up to 15 m tall with a trunk up to 20 cm across, found in rainforests and cloud forests at 500–2,100 m elevation in the Actinidiaceae family.

Edible Uses

The fruit is eaten.

It is a tropical plant. It grows in rainforests and cloud forests. It grows between 500-2,100 m above sea level.
