Description

A shrub. It grows 3 m tall. It usually has no leaves. The young stems are white. The flowers are greenish-white. The fruit are small and 8 mm across. They are purple.

Edible Uses

The fruit are edible.

Distribution

It is a subtropical plant. It grows in semi-arid areas.
