Source: WikipediaAllium cyathophorum is a Chinese (Chinese: 杯花韭, bei hua jiu) species of flowering plant in the onion genus Allium of the family Amaryllidaceae. It grows at elevations from 2,700 metres (8,900 ft) up to 4,600 metres (15,100 ft).
Description
An onion family plant. It can have one or more bulbs. The leaves are narrow and 2-5 mm wide. The stalk is 13-15 cm long. The flowering head is half round with loose flowers.
Edible Uses
The bulb is eaten.
Distribution
It is a temperate plant. It grows on slopes and in meadows between 2,700-4,600 m in southern China. In Sichuan and Yunnan.
