Description

A large creeper. It has lots of latex. The leaves are opposite. They are sword shaped. The flowers are white and the flowering shoots are in the axils of leaves. The fruit are large and round. They are 4-6 cm across. The seeds are narrowly oval.

Edible Uses

The fruit is edible.

Distribution

It is a tropical plant. It grows in the edges of lowland forests and near mangroves.
