Description

A shrub. It grows 1 m tall. The leaves are 2-4 cm long by 1-2 cm wide. The fruit are 3-4 mm across.

The fruit can be eaten fresh, and the leaves are prepared as a tea.

Distribution

It is a subtropical plant. In Argentina it grows below 500 m above sea level.
