Description
A woody shrub. It grows 1-3 m tall. Young stems are hairy. The leaves are alternate. The leaves have 3 lobes. They are 10 cm long and 3.5 cm wide. The flowers are small. The fruit capsule is 2.5 cm long. The seeds are large and 1.8 cm long by p.9 cm wide.
Edible Uses
The roots are occasionally used as food.
