Description

A tree fern. It grows 3-8 m tall. The stem is 11 cm across. There are 19 leaves and they are 1.5 m long by 65 cm wide.

The fronds and leaves are edible.

Distribution

It is a tropical plant. It has been collected at 2,250 and 3,225 m above sea level in Papua Province Indonesia.
