Sphaeropteris brunoniana, synonym Cyathea brunoniana, is a fern in the family Cyatheaceae.

Description

A tree fern. It can be 10-20 m tall. The trunk can be 20 cm across. The blades are twice divided and 2-3 m long by 1.6 m wide.

Distribution

It is a tropical plant. It grows in evergreen forests between 500-1,200 m in southern China. In Yunnan.
