Description

A woody climber or straggling shrub. It can climb over trees. It can be 4-6 m long. It is covered with silvery scales. There are thorns in the axils of leaves. There are 1-2 cm long. The leaves are 9-14 cm long by 6-8 cm wide. They are oval and taper to the tip. They are silvery white underneath. The flowers are in groups of 3-6 and have both sexes. The fruit is red and fleshy over a nut 2.6 cm long by 1.2 cm wide.
