Description

A herb or small shrub. It keeps growing from year to year. It can grow 3 m high. It has many branches. The leaves are deeply divided. They are 6-20 cm long and 5-16 cm wide. There are teeth along the edge. The flower stalks are 2-20 cm long. The seeds are dark brown.

Edible Uses

The leaves are eaten as a vegetable.

Distribution

It is a tropical plant. It grows along the edge of forest. It can grow in arid places.
