Description

A shrub. It can grow 1-20 m high. It is softly woody and can be attached to other plants. The flowers are red or purple and 2-5 cm across. They are in groups at the end.

Edible Uses

The leaves are eaten.

Distribution

It is a tropical plant. It grows in damp places in the forest.
