Description
A liana or creeper in the Rubiaceae family found in tropical mountain regions of Papua Province, Indonesia, occurring between 1,250-2,200 m above sea level. It can also grow in a shrub-like form.
Edible Uses
Used to make drinks.

Has medicinal uses; various Uncaria species are used in Chinese medicine.

It is a tropical plant. It has been recorded at 2,200 m in Papua Province, Indonesia. It occurs between 1,250-2,200 m above sea level.
