Description

A shrub or tree. It grows 3 m tall. It is hairy. The leaves are clustered behind the tips of the small branches. The leaves are broadly oval and taper to a short tip. The base is wedge shaped. There are teeth along the edges. The leaves are 10-18 cm long by 3-6 cm wide. The flowers are in groups of about 200 in groups 3-18 cm long by 2-7 cm wide. The fruit are berries with 3-5 sections. They are 4 mm across.

Distribution
