Description

A small subtropical tree in the Erythroxylaceae family growing 3-4 m high, native to Argentina from sea level to 1,000 m elevation. It produces small red fruit.

Edible Uses

The fruit is edible.

Distribution

It is a subtropical plant. In Argentina it grows from sea level to 1,000 m above sea level.
