Description

A herb or small shrub. It grows 50 cm tall. The leaves are spoon shaped and rough. They are 2-5 cm long. They have a white coating. The tip is black. The flowers are white and in clusters.

Edible Uses

The leaves are edible.

Distribution

It is a subtropical plant. It grows on coastal dunes and sandstone slopes.

Notes

There is only one Petalacte species.
