Description

A herb. It bends over and keeps growing from year to year. The leaves are narrowly oval and have a false leaf stalk. The flowers are at the top of the plant and are dense. The flowers are small and blue.

Edible Uses

The leaves are eaten.

Distribution

It is a tropical plant. It grows in shady places in forests and is often near streams. It grows up to 800 m above sea level.
