Inga mortoniana is a species of plant in the family Fabaceae. It is found only in Costa Rica.

Description

A tropical tree in the Fabaceae family that produces long fruit pods containing edible seeds. Seeds germinate readily within 1-2 weeks when provided with moisture and shade.

Edible Uses

The seeds from the pods are eaten.

It is a tropical plant.

Cultivation

Plants grow easily from fresh seeds. Seeds germinate in 1-2 weeks given moisture and shade.
