Description

A fig. It is a large climbing shrub that grows attached to other plants. It can grow 8 m tall. The leaves are oblong and 10-22 cm long by 4-8 cm wide.

Edible Uses

Wood ashes are processed for salt production.

Distribution

It is a tropical plant. It grows in forests along rivers. It grows up to 1,900 m above sea level.
