Description

A herb. It has a bulb. The leaves are produced after the flowers. There are up to 8 flowers and they are turned to one side and nodding. The flowers are tubes 5 cm long. They are red.

Edible Uses

The flowers and leaves are edible portions of this plant.

Distribution

It grows in the highveld in Swaziland.
