Description
A climbing shrub. It grows 6-10 m tall. The trunk can be 4-12 cm across. The leaves are oval and 4-14 cm long by 2-6 cm wide. The flowers are in groups in the axils of leaves. The fruit are a flattened round shaped. These are fleshy. They are 2 cm long by 3 cm wide. They are white. Possibly now Breynia lanceolata
Edible Uses
Both the fruit and leaves are eaten.
Medicinal Uses
The seeds are used in medicine.
Distribution
A tropical plant. It grows in mixed forests and up to 1,000 m above sea level. It can be up to 1,750 m above sea level.
