Description
An evergreen tree. It can grow 12 m high. The leaves are narrowly oval with smooth edges. The flowers are pure white. They are in small stalked clusters. The fruit are 25 mm long. There are 9 subspecies.
Edible Uses
Both the fruit and seeds are edible.
Distribution
It grows in the rainforest understorey. It suits hardiness zones 9-12.
