The leaves at the crown are pval and 6-22 cm long by 4-15 cm wide. The flowers are in branched groups. There are 30-40 flowers. The fruit are about 2 cm long and 1 cm across.
Edible Uses
The fruit is eaten.
Distribution
A tropical plant. In Brazil it grows between 950-2,000 m altitude.
