Description
A scrambling small shrub. It grows 60 cm tall. It is hairy. It has prickles 5 mm long that are cone shaped and curved. The leaves are 1-3 cm long by 1-2 cm wide. They are round to heart shaped. The flowers are in groups of 1-2 in the axils of leaves or at the ends of branches. The fruit are berries 5-7 mm across. They are yellow to red.
Edible Uses
The leaves are eaten.
Distribution
It is a subtropical plant. It grows in dry rocky places up to 1,000 m above sea level in Pakistan.
