Description

A tree. It grows 30 m tall. The trunk is 30-40 cm across and can be slightly fluted. The leaves are spaced in pairs along the branches. The leaves are simple and 9-18 cm long by 5-9 cm wide. The flowers are in the axils of leaves near the ends of branches. The fruit is 1.5-2 cm long. They are pale red and fleshy.

Distribution

It is a tropical plant. It grows up to 1,300 m above sea level.
