A tropical tree native to the Louisiade Archipelago and Western Province of Papua New Guinea, in the Centroplacaceae family (also classified in Celastraceae).

Edible Uses

The fruit is edible.

The bark contains alkaloids.

Distribution

It is a tropical plant. It grows in the Louisiade Archipelago in Papua New Guinea. (Milne Bay Province) and Western Province.
