A tree. It grows 10-15 m tall. The trunk is 15-35 cm across. The small branches are slender and yellow. The leaf stalk is 6-10 mm long. The leaves are narrowly sword shaped and 8-15 cm long by 2-3.5 cm wide. The mid-vein is yellow and raised on both surfaces. The fruiting stalks are 2.5-3.4 cm long and have a yellow-brown coating. The fruit is green and 2 cm across. The seed is round and black.
