Description

A bamboo. The stems are 2.5-3.5 m long and 1-1.8 cm across. The internodes are 18-22 cm long. It is hollow. There are 3 or more branches at each node. The leaves are triangle or sword shaped. They are 7- 25 cm long or longer and 2.5-3.5 mm wide.

Edible Uses

The shoots are edible.

Distribution

It is a tropical plant. In Yunnan.
