Description

An orchid. It is a slender herb that grows in the ground. It grows 12-45 cm tall. There are 5-16 leaves with the lowest 3-9 forming a tuft. The flowering shoots are 3 cm long with 1 - 6 flowers in a dense cluster. The flowers are yellow to orange. The tubers are 0.8-1.8 cm long by 0.5-1 cm wide.

Edible Uses

The tubers and roots are eaten.
