Description

An orchid. It is a herb that grows in soil. It grows 50 cm tall. The 2 leaves at the base of the stem are flat on the ground. They are 6 cm long by 10 cm wide. They are oval or kidney shaped. There are 4 leaves on the stem that are 2-6.5 cm long and sheath the stem. The flowering shoots are 4-16 cm long by 3-6 cm wide. There can be up to 20 flowers in a dense cluster. The flowers are white or pink and waxy. The tubers are 1-3 cm long.

Edible Uses

The tubers and roots are edible portions.

It is a tropical plant.
