Description

A herb. It grows 25 cm tall. The leaves are alternate. They are narrowly oval. The flowering shoots are like spikes and the flowers are without stalks and in the axils of leaf like bracts.

Edible Uses

The leaves are potentially edible.

Distribution

It is a Mediterranean climate plant. It grows in dry grassland.
