Description

A tree. It grows 8 m tall. The young branches are smooth and reddish. The leaves are sword shaped and 7-15 cm long by 2-3 cm wide. The flower petals are pink. The fruit are greenish white and occasionally yellow. They are 4-6 cm long by 4-7 cm wide. They are hairy.

The fruit is eaten fresh and can be sour-sweet.
