A tropical shrub in the passionflower family (Passifloraceae) with edible leaves.

Edible Uses

The leaves are eaten.

Medicinal Uses

The plant (part not specified) is used to treat anaemia and toothache. The bark is used to treat wounds, scabies and itch. After a wash with the decocted bark, the affected area is then dusted with powdered bark.

It is a tropical plant.
