Description

An onion herb. It grows 45 cm tall. There are one or two leaves per bulb and they are strap shaped and can be 5 cm wide. The flowers are large, pink and star shaped in a round head. The bulbs are oval and can occur singly or in a small clump.

Edible Uses

The bulbs are eaten.

Distribution

It is a temperate plant.
