Phyllostachys mannii is a species of flowering plant in the family Poaceae. It is a species of bamboo found in Guizhou, Henan, Jiangsu, Shaanxi, Sichuan, Xizang, Yunnan, Zhejiang provinces of China, Myanmar, and India.

Description

A bamboo. It grows 8-10 m tall. The stems are 4-6 cm wide. The internodes are 30-42 cm long. There are 1 or 2 leaves on the last branch. The leaf blade is 8-16 cm long by 1-2 cm wide.

Edible Uses

The shoots are eaten; they have a slightly bitter taste.
