Description
A woody scrambler. It loses its leaves during the year. It grows 3-4 m long. The branches are green with brown spots. The leaves are oblong and 3-5 cm long by 2-2.5 cm wide. The base is rounded. The flowers occur singly in the axils of leaves and are dark purple.
Edible Uses
The leaves are eaten.

It is a temperate plant.
