Description

A climbing herb. It has thin wiry stems. It keeps growing from year to year. The flower tube is white and fattened and curved. The fruit are narrow and in pairs. They are 7-12 cm long.

Distribution

A tropical plant. It grows in savannah woodland and in forests along rivers.

Africa, Benin, East Africa, Guinea, Guinée, Guinea-Bissau, Mali, Mozambique, Senegal, Sierra Leone, West Africa,

Notes

There are about 160-200 Ceropegia species. Probably now in Apocynaceae.
