Source: WikipediaAlbatrellus ovinus is a terrestrial fungus found in Europe and North America. Although commonly known as sheep polypore, this fungus is not phylogenetically related to Polyporales (shelf fungi). It similar to A. subrubescens, from which it may be distinguished microscopically.
