Description
A straggling shrub. It grows 5 m high. The small branches are grey. The leaves are alternate and simple. They are oval and 2-6 cm long by 1-3 cm wide. The flowers are in clusters of 2 or 3. They are in the axils of leaves. The fruit are round and fleshy. They are 8 mm across.
Edible Uses
The round fleshy fruit are eaten.
Distribution
It is a subtropical plant. It grows on stream banks and rocky outcrops.
