Description

A herb. It keeps growing from year to year. It has a tuber 5 cm across. There can be one or a few stems. These grow 10 cm high. They have hairs. The leaves are narrow. There are 2-4 flowers in a group.

Edible Uses

The tubers and roots are eaten.

Distribution

It is a subtropical plant.
