Description
A bamboo. It grows 5-7 m tall. The culms are 1-2.5 cm across. The internodes are 35-45 cm long. There are 2-5 leaves at the last branch. The leaf blade is 5-8 cm long by 4-9 mm wide.
Edible Uses
The shoots are eaten.
Distribution
It is a subtropical plant. It grows in Yunnan in China between 3,000-4,200 m altitude.
