Description
A tree. It grows 12 m high. The trunk is 25 cm across. The bark peels off in rectangular pieces. New grown has a soft hairy covering. The leaves are in clusters or spirals. The leaves are 5-9 cm long by 3-6 cm wide. The flowers are dark red. The fruit are 2 cm long. There is one seed. It is 1.5 cm long.
