Description

Boletus loyo is an edible bolete fungus in the family Boletaceae found in subtropical South America. It was scientifically described for the first time in 1912 from collections in Argentina.

Edible Uses

The mushroom is edible and rich in protein.

Distribution

It is a subtropical plant.
