Description
A tree. It grows 15 m tall. The fruiting stalks are 1 cm long. They are softly hairy. The fruit is oval and 1.3 cm long by 1.2 cm wide. They are orange-yellow and hairy. The pulp is edible.
Edible Uses
Fruit - raw. Fleshy. A slightly astringent flavour. The orange-yellow fruit is up to 13mm in diameter.
Distribution
It is a tropical plant. It grows in forest on white sand.
