Description

A shrub or small tree. It grows 4 m tall. The small branches are 4 sided. The leaves are oval. The flowering shoots are near the axils of leaves. The fruit are round and black. They are 3-5 mm across. They have 3-5 ribs. There are 3-5 seeds.

Distribution

A tropical plant. In Yunnan in China it grows between 800-1300 m altitude. It grows in secondary forest.
